It’s a romance.

Between me passionately loving what I do, and you falling madly in love with it.

Andrew’s grandfather was a master carpenter, and he grew up watching his grandfather’s work ethic and attention to detail, aesthetics, and design. There is no doubt that all these traits are in Andrew’s blood.

He was exposed to glass art at a young age and even wrote in the 5 th grade: “When I grow up, I am going to be a glass artist” long before he realized where a professional career in glass art would truly take him.

Andrew Libecki has been blowing glass professionally for 20 years. His career began at a glass shop making production lighting in Bellingham, WA under the mentorship of glass artist Sterling Powell where Andrew learned the fundamentals of glass blowing and layering colors to create patterns for dramatic effect within glass. After working under Powell for 6 years, Andrew was scouted by renowned Seattle-based glass artist James Nowak to be Nowak’s personal glass blowing assistant, where he worked for 4 years.

After his time with James Nowak, Andrew built and opened his own studio in Northern California called G-Town Hot-shop (Gratitude Town), where he produces all his of his work currently. Gratitude and being truly present are the core fundamentals of who Andrew is and how he creates his own personal success.

Throughout his life, Andrew has been traveling the world seeking inspiration for his life and art.

His world travels have taken him to the Philippines, Iceland, Greenland, Africa, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, Japan, Laos, Thailand, Mongolia, Peru, India, and throughout China.

For Andrew, the magic of glass art is in its limitless abilities to form patterns, shapes, colors, texture, reflections, shadows, optical effects, and illusions. Creating an experience, in a timeless physical form.

“Your only limit, is your imagination.”
